Developing U
Developing U is a training and development program offered by our employees for our employees. This peer-led education and development program is designed to encourage a more well-rounded banking career while also ensuring that FHLBNY employees gain institutional knowledge.

Toastmasters
The FHLBNY partners with the world-famous Toastmasters International to offer employees a one-of-a-kind course to master the art of public speaking. Employees join Toastmasters to:
Conduct effective meetings
Develop/improve public speaking and communication skills
Organize productive teams
Offer constructive criticism
Present ideas more effectively
Develop their leadership potential

Internship Program
Our Internship program is designed to enhance our pool of diverse talent and provide learning, growth, and opportunities for students to gain exposure to the FHLBNY’s business, while learning about our commitment to teamwork and community. Summer internships are paid and a typical work week is 37.5 hours.
What does it take to join the Internship Program?
Candidates must be going into their final year or semester in an undergraduate or Master’s program at an accredited four-year institution.
Must be full-time students
Should have a minimum GPA of 3.0
Program cycle is from end of May through mid-August:
