Homebuyer Dream Program® (HDP®) Suite Information for First-Time Homebuyers
The 2026 Homebuyer Dream Program® (HDP®) Rounds Are Open
On February 9, 2026, the FHLBNY allocated $31,670,000 to fund the 2026 HDP Rounds.
This year, 110 members are participating in the program to make it possible for low-to-middle income households to own a home of their own.
The HDP Suite allows Members to provide grants to be used toward down payment and closing cost assistance to eligible first-time homebuyers.
Homebuyers must contact an approved participating member to obtain mortgage financing. The list of participating members for the 2026 Homebuyer Dream Program Suite will be published by the end of January.
