2026 FHLBNY Member Symposium
We were thrilled to host our 2026 Member Symposium, “Precision – Partnership – Performance,” on April 16 at the Metropolitan Club, and we thank all the members that joined us! We were privileged to open the program with economic perspectives from John C. Williams, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, who then joined FHLBNY President and CEO Randy Snook in conversation. President Snook and Adam Goldstein, Chief Business Officer, FHLBNY – who would later moderate some of our panels – then held a fireside chat offering additional reflections on the evolving financial landscape.
The Symposium concluded with an inspiring closing keynote from John "Gucci" Foley, former Blue Angel Lead Solo Pilot, bestselling author, Stanford Fellow, and “Gratitude Guru.” Drawing on his experience with the Blue Angels, John shared powerful stories about leadership, teamwork, and operating with high altitude precision, followed by a photo opportunity and book signing. We are deeply grateful to John Foley for leaving attendees motivated and energized.
We also extend our sincere thanks to our distinguished speakers and panelists throughout the day which included a housing panel moderated by Charles E. Kilbourne, Managing Director, Financial Services Volunteer Corps, and FHLBNY Board Member, featuring Shaun Donovan, Chief Executive Officer, Enterprise Community Partners, and Ramon Gomez, Managing Director, JPMorgan Chase & Co; a discussion on the world’s largest regulated stablecoin with Elisabeth Carpenter, Chief Strategic Engagement Officer, Circle; a panel on M&A in a shifting financial landscape moderated by Chris Martin, Executive Chairman, Provident Bank, and FHLBNY Board Chair, with William Hickey of Piper Sandler and Joe Moeller of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods; and a CEO panel focused on growth, resiliency, and opportunity featuring Michele Dean, President and CEO, Suffolk Credit Union; Donald Felix, President and CEO, Carver Bank; and Ira Robbins, CEO and Chairman, Valley National Bank, and FHLBNY Board Member.
Our 2026 Member Symposium was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our members and discuss key updates and strategies on how we can best support members through our products, solutions, and services.
