Detecting and Avoiding Fraud

- The presentation focuses on understanding what constitutes fraud:
- Hot spots
- Cost and affect to lenders and communities
- Red flags in the mortgage loan files
- Participants develop their awareness of fraud by reviewing documents from actual fraud investigations. Discussion includes tips for minimizing fraud risk possibly saving their institution thousands of dollars.

Turnaround Report (TAR) and Account Reconciliation
