HRIS Specialist

- Test and implement new versions and fixes to the HR software based on the Bank’s standard test plans.
- Manage, monitor and support the daily operation of the HR database.
- Function as the Project Manager for all system upgrades.
- Manage the day-to-day and year-end operations of the HRIS.
- Analyze and resolve problems with the HRIS; develop modifications to enhance operational efficiency or improve the information resources available to management.
- Provide information for and/or complete Human Resources related reports.
- Perform pre-transmission review and reconcilement of payroll.
- Create and / or modify complex spreadsheets.
- Manage all user ID’s, access permissions, and other security components on HR servers and applications.
- Keep abreast of security administration for all HR owned applications.
- Provide user support for all HR-related network and application security issues.
- Provide ad hoc and periodic reports to users, auditors, and examiners showing user data access and transaction privileges.
- Process payroll periodically (2-4 times a year or in the absence of the HR Assistant/Payroll.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in CIS.
- HRIS expertise required.
- Demonstrated Security Administration knowledge for all HR related applications and systems used at the Bank.
- Query reports with technical/systems experience. Strong Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments required.
- Ability to perform research and work independently.
- Ability to work and make decisions under pressure.
