Senior Accountant (MBS Product Manager)

Function:
- Daily review and analysis of income and expenses generated by MBS and all other investments; review of all open items and clearing of open items; ability to use automated reports with MBS system and Bloomberg.
- Responsible for preparing multiple reports for regulatory filing in an automated environment.
- Ability to develop complex spreadsheets.
- Ability to explain to other accounting personnel product information about MBS.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum five years with Mortgage-backed securities back-office functions with strong knowledge of MBS and MBS processing systems.
- Professional, technical, interpersonal, communication and computer skills commensurate with experience.
- Significant experience in the back-office maintenance and accounting of fixed and structured financial instruments; experience and interest in working with systems and technologies that account process such securities.
