Business Intelligence Analyst II

Function:
- Work with business users to gather requirements for Business Intelligence projects.
- Analyze and structure findings to be used by developers. Profile data to identify data quality issues using SQL and specialized tools.
- Develop plans for resolving data quality issues. Participate in design sessions. Develop test plans and test deliverables. Data analytics and report development.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills
* Familiar w/ Data Warehousing Concepts such as star schemas, metadata, operational data stores and master data
* Experience documenting mapping rules for ETL jobs
*Report development (Business Objects Enterprise Web Intelligence and/or Crystal reports preferred)
* Oracle Database SQL programming
*Sybase, MS SQL Server, DB2 knowledge a plus
* Familiarity reading data models - Domain Knowledge
* Familiarity with Banking & Finance industry
*Requirements gathering

* Testing - Experience
* Minimum 3 years of IT experience
* Minimum 2 years of Business Intelligence experience
* Minimum 2 years of Requirements Gathering for BI projects experience
* Minimum 1 year of testing experience
* Minimum 1 year of ETL rules mapping experience
* Minimum 1 year of Data Profiling experience
* Minimum 2 years of Banking & financial services experience
* Familiarity with reading and understanding dimensional and 3rd Normal form data models
