We actively promote opportunities for certified minority, women, and disabled veteran business enterprises. Partnering with diverse suppliers helps us ensure that we fulfill our customers’ needs and expectations and encourages our other suppliers to do the same.
We promote vendor/supplier diversity by:
- Creating a level playing field for all qualified businesses that want to provide services or products to us.
- Identifying opportunities for diverse businesses to bid on an equal basis.
- Promoting an internal culture that embraces working with diverse vendors, suppliers and business partners.
Registering your business for consideration as a diverse supplier with FHLBNY
The FHLBNY will maintain an internal database that will be used to reference businesses that have diverse ownership, for potential procurement opportunities. Third-party certification will be required for vendor/suppliers to be included in the database. Please ensure that your company is certified as a diverse vendor/supplier by a third-party before soliciting FHLBNY.
If your business meets the qualification and is a certified diverse business, we invite you to register your business in our database.

Since we also use other diversity databases when searching for vendor/suppliers, we recommend candidates also register with one or more of the following organizations: the Small Business Administration, the National Minority Supplier Development Council, and the Women's Business Enterprise National Council.
